The determination of the lower limit of cut-off grade in case of comparative calculations using technological factors
- According to the GKZ guidelines, the lower limit of cut-off grade in case of comparative calculations should not be lower than in the concentration tailings;
- There are a number of approved exploration conditions where the grade in the concentration tailings is higher than the cut-off grade;
- All of the above examples relate to deposits with refractory ores;
- When selecting the lower limit of the cut-off grade for deposits with refractory ores, it is necessary to verify the economic calculations.
